Who is Joelle Alvord?

A wife, mother and grandmother, resident and former graduate of Anoka senior high school. I love this city and want to serve you in an effort to maintain the rich history of Anoka. I am a regular attendee at city council meetings and currently serve on the economic development committee (edc) as Vice chair in the city of Anoka. I also serve as Liasson for the edc at Anoka Chamber of Commerce board meetings and park and advisory board meetings in the city of Anoka. I am also a board member at the Montessori Renaissance Academy in Anoka and volunteer at the Anoka Community Mission at 4th and Pierce street in Anoka.

My masters degree in business management and 40+ years of employment in various sales fields enhances my ability to act in a leadership role for Anoka. Decision making is and was part of my daily employment. Anoka deserves respected, loyal leadership without an agenda imposed by anyone other than you!

My husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year and we share 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Our life is full.
